Anyone have a stack of german car magazines or books lying around? I figure reading about something like cars would help me keep reading and learning.

I want to learn German too lol. I have a bit of VW sales brochures and stuff I picked up a couple of years ago in Germany. I should be able to scan it and email it to you in a few days if you want.

Before chain bookstores and Amazon ruled the Earth, our local funky alternative bookseller stocked German car periodicals...sadly the local is all gone now but thanks to the Internet, the mag they taught me to love is still available...”ganz frei (gratis),” even...
Maybe it might be of interest for what you’re looking for? It’s called “Auto Motor undo Sport” and seems like it could possibly fit the bill :)
Here’s hoping you’ll enjoy if you check it out

I’ve spent 9 years learning German. You don’t want to learn German. Trust me. YOU DO NOT WANT TO LEARN GERMAN. :)

Along with the other suggestions, canI recommend the free languages app Duolingo? I use it for Spanish, but they have German too.

“Deutsch”, no e :)
And wait until you get to deal with fucking accusativ, dativ und genetiv, along with that gender crap you have to guess constantly... “der die oder das”???
At least in french, we don’t have neutral!

I had my spell correct set to german and didnt notice that. I am learning.
yeah the der die das confused the heck out of me. It doesn’t seem to make any logical sense. My college professor would just rattle out them and when to use them and acted like we should only here it once and have it memorized it.
No but in french you pronounce only like half of the letters!

Yeah but the silent letters are more or less surrounded by rules, so once you’ve learnt how it works, you know which to pronounce :)

I will donate this book on Ferrari to the cause if you were to cover the cost of shipping. I ordered it a few months ago and had no idea it was in German.

Hi, I’ve started learning German few months ago. My friends suggest me to find tutor so I take lessons on https://preply.com/en/skype/german-tutors . It’s a good source but I’m also looking for new opportunities to make studying more effective.
You can try this resource for studying. It can realy help you.If you know some great ways you tried yourself, let me know, please.
